Wilderness Travel Hire Costs

You will need to take out motor insurance for the motorhome which will cost from £30 a week as an add-on to your own car insurance or from £20 per day, depending on length of cover, if you buy a stand alone policy. This is obligatory and not an option. Delivery may be possible.

 

Weekly bookings (£485) required due to extra time for cleaning required during the current restrictions.

5 or 6 night may be considered.

 

July and August

Hires run from 4pm collection to 11am return

Bookings of a long weekend (i.e. festivals) which effectively block 2 full weeks hire may have a £100 surcharge. 

 

A deposit of perhaps £1000 will be required to cover the vehicle insurance accident excess (reduced if the vehicle excess is lower) and a deposit of £500 to cover internal damage, extra cleaning and/or late return etc. I.e. a total of £1500.

 

4:00 pm collection. 11:00 am return.  Can be altered by agreement.

Note:

The mileage allowance 100 miles per day hired (i.e. a 5 day hire would allow 500 miles) - mileage over this allowance is charged at 25p per mile.

The motorhome is supplied with a full tank of diesel and should be returned the same.

The toilette cassette needs to be emptied and rinsed before return and motorhome needs to be returned at the agreed time.

The motorhome should only require 'normal' cleaning taking around 2 hours. In all these cases charges will apply if these conditions are not met.  Please see full terms and conditions.
